Palmarosa Essential Oil - Set of 10 x 10ml
Setting aside a few minutes for a home blend, a drop of Palmarosa oil brings a sweet, rosy, green scent into the mix, close to geranium but softer and grassier. Steam-distilled from the grass Cymbopogon martini grown in India, it is a relative of lemongrass with a much sweeter, rose-like character.
Energetic properties
Palmarosa has long been used in Indian perfumery as a more affordable way to bring a rosy note into a blend, valued for its soft, sweet-green character. Many people combine it with geranium or true rose oils to extend a floral blend without losing the rosy quality.
How to use
- Blend with geranium or rose oils for a soft, rosy accord, or diffuse on its own.
- Dilute in a carrier oil before any skin contact, and patch test a small area first.
- Do not ingest, and keep away from children and pets.
