Grown in the mountains of Yunnan Province in South West China, Pu-erh tea forms the base of this full-bodied, earthy blend, layered with mate, nettle, carrot and freeze-dried blueberry, strawberry and raspberry for a fruity finish.
Spiritual meaning
Pu-erh is an aged tea style with centuries of tradition behind it, prized for its deep, rounded flavour that grows stronger and sweeter the longer it steeps. In tea lore, sharing a pot of Pu-erh is associated with grounding and taking a moment of pause, a small daily ritual of slowing down amid a busy schedule.
How to use
- Use 2 to 3 grams of blend per 200 ml of water
- Heat water to around 90 to 95ºC
- Let steep for 4 to 5 minutes before straining
