Steam-distilled from the seeds of Myristica fragrans grown in Indonesia, it comes from the Banda Islands, the original home of the nutmeg trade.

In folk tradition it is linked to warmth and abundance, and today it adds a spicy, woody depth to autumn and winter blends.
How to use
- Use sparingly in a diffuser blend, paired with citrus or other warm spice oils.
- Dilute well in a carrier oil before skin contact, and patch test first.
