Getting ready for a special morning, a drop of Neroli oil in the diffuser fills the room with a sweet, honeyed, floral scent, softer and less sharp than the orange the flowers come from. This batch is a diluted preparation of bitter orange blossom oil from Tunisia, distilled from Citrus aurantium flowers.
Energetic properties
Neroli takes its name from a 17th-century Italian princess who popularised the scent of orange blossom in perfumery, and it has remained a prized floral note ever since. Because the pure oil is costly to produce, it is commonly supplied diluted in a carrier, keeping the delicate floral character easy to use in a personal blend.
How to use
