Myrrh Fragrance Oil is a 10ml bottle of scented oil with a warm, resinous, slightly smoky character. It is diluted with dipropylene glycol (DPG) to help the fragrance stay noticeable for longer once it is warmed.
Spiritual meaning
Myrrh resin has been burned as incense for thousands of years, often alongside frankincense, and is traditionally associated with purification, protection and sacred ceremony. Many people choose a myrrh fragrance oil for meditation spaces or altar work, where a deep, grounding scent is wanted.
How to use
- Warm a few drops in an oil burner with water, or add to an electric wax melt warmer.
- A few drops revive tired potpourri or scent a diffuser pad.
- Use only on a heat-resistant surface, never leave a lit burner unattended, and keep the room ventilated.
- Pairs traditionally with frankincense for a fuller resinous blend.
- Store away from children and pets, avoid contact with eyes, and do not ingest.
