This round soap dish is carved with drainage holes so water drains away from the bar instead of collecting underneath it.
Symbolism
Although sold under the mahogany name, the wood specified for this piece is naseberry wood, Manilkara zapota, a dense reddish timber often used in place of true mahogany for its similar look. Being hand finished and individually bar-coded, each dish carries small natural variations in grain that make it slightly different from the next.
