This cushion cover is woven in a Kilim-style flat-weave pattern and finished in a charcoal colourway that sits comfortably with most existing furnishings, from plain linens to other patterned textiles.
Tradition
Kilim weaving is a flat tapestry technique long used across Anatolia and neighbouring regions to make rugs, cushions and wall hangings. Because the weave is flat rather than piled, the geometric, stepped patterns typical of kilim work show clearly on both the front and back of the fabric.
