Himalayan Salt BBQ Cooking Plate - 30 x 20 cm
Hand-carved from a solid block of Himalayan salt, this rectangular plate measures 30 x 20 x 5 cm and can be heated on a grill or stove to cook meat and vegetables directly on its surface. The salt's natural trace minerals, including potassium, magnesium and calcium, give the stone its characteristic pink-to-orange banding. Himalayan salt is traditionally quarried in Pakistan, where this plate is hand-carved.
How to use
- Heat gradually, starting on low heat, to avoid cracking the plate
- Brush or oil the surface lightly before cooking to prevent sticking
- Chill the plate in the fridge to use it as a cold serving platter
- After use, let it cool fully, scrape off residue and rinse with water; avoid soap
