This slice of olive oil soap is scented with rue essential oil, traditionally known by the old English name herb of grace.
Symbolism
Rue has long been regarded in European folk tradition as a protective plant, said to ward off spells and negative energy from the home. Many people still keep to that old association today, more as folklore than practice.
How to use
- Lather with warm water over hands and body, then rinse clean.
- Keep the bar on a draining dish between uses so it lasts longer.
