This macrame angel is hand-woven from cotton in mountain villages in Indonesia, and comes with a small leaflet in a gift box. As each angel is woven by hand in a small home workshop, small differences in the exact thread pattern are normal between pieces.
Symbolism
Known as the Guardian Angel, this piece is traditionally given to watch over a room or a cot, and is often chosen as a gift for a baby girl at a naming or christening.
How to use
Hang it near a cot, from a door handle or wardrobe knob, or give it as a gift in its box.
