This macrame angel is hand-woven from cotton in mountain villages in Indonesia, in a blend of blue, green and cream threads, and comes with a small leaflet in a gift box. As each angel is woven by hand in a small home workshop, small differences in the exact thread pattern are normal between pieces.
Symbolism
The colours are chosen to represent the earth: blue for the sea, green for the land and cream for the human part in caring for both, reflecting a Balinese tradition of balance between nature and human behaviour.
How to use
Hang it from a door handle, wardrobe knob, bag or a hook on the wall as a small decorative charm, or give it as a gift in its box.
