Handmade Indigo Runner - 170x60cm - Madjid Tiles
This 170 x 60 cm table runner is made from cotton dyed with natural indigo, finished with a Madjid Tiles pattern and weighing about 380 g.
Symbolism
Indigo dyeing is a traditional Indian craft in which fabric is dipped repeatedly in natural dye baths and then sun-dried, gradually deepening into its characteristic blue through oxidation. Tile-inspired patterns like this one are created with resist techniques such as block printing, and edges are often finished with hand-stitched embroidery or tassels.
How to use
This runner works well on a dining table, a console or a shelf, bringing pattern and colour into the room.

Ask about this piece
Measurements, materials, how a thing is meant to be used, whether two pieces go together: ask and a person answers. Natural stone and hand-made work vary from piece to piece, so the photograph shows one example rather than the exact item. Write to us.
