This Floral Bath Soak blends sea salt with dried lavender, rose, chamomile and calendula petals, meant to be scattered into running bath water for a fragrant, botanical soak. The same flower mix used here also appears in the matching facial steam blend from the same range.
Combining salt with dried flowers for the bath draws on a long-running tradition in European herbal bathing, where petals and salts were mixed at home long before pre-packaged blends existed. Each flower carries its own place in that tradition, valued for scent as much as for the ritual of preparing a bath around it.
How to use
- Scatter a handful of the blend into warm running bath water
- Swirl the water to help the salt dissolve before getting in
- Store the remaining blend in a dry place, away from direct sunlight
