Energetic properties
Desert sage, also known as sagebrush, grows across the arid regions of North America and is traditionally burned there for clearing and grounding, generally considered milder than white sage. In folk tradition it is closely tied to the wide open landscape it grows in, and many people use it as a light, everyday alternative.
How to use
- Hold the stick at an angle, light the tip, then blow out any flame so it smoulders rather than burns.
- Use a heatproof dish, shell or tray to catch any ash as you move through the space.
- Do not leave it burning unattended, and air the room out while it smoulders and afterwards.
