Decadence is a bath potion of sea salt scented with orange, patchouli and jasmine, sold in a generous 7 kg hessian sack for anyone who bathes often.
Symbolism
Jasmine and patchouli both carry long histories in perfumery and ritual use, jasmine often linked with evening and romance, patchouli with earthier, grounding associations from its use in incense and traditional remedies across Asia. Orange rounds out the blend with a brighter top note, so the scent shifts from sweet to deep as it settles on the skin.
How to use
- Add two or three teaspoons of the blend to running bath water.
- Spoon smaller amounts into your own jars to keep by the bath or to give as gifts.
- Keep the sack sealed and stored in a dry place between uses.
- For external use only; keep away from children and pets, and check with a doctor before use in pregnancy.
