Why use a separate inner
Keeping the filling as a separate inner pad means a decorative cover can be taken off and washed without disturbing the padding itself, and the same inner can be reused under a different cover later on. A 60 x 60 cm inner is a common size, so it pairs with most covers cut to the same measurement.
