Lavender, ylang ylang and patchouli essential oils meet in this hand-poured soap bar, finished with a scattering of dried lavender flowers across the top. The blend leans warm and floral rather than sharp, with the deeper patchouli note holding the lighter lavender and ylang ylang together.
Spiritual meaning
The name recalls the legendary beauty rituals attributed to Cleopatra, whose baths were said to be scented with fine oils long before modern soap-making existed. Lavender itself carries a long folk association with calm, while ylang ylang is traditionally linked to sensuality in aromatherapy practice; together they suit a slower, more deliberate washing ritual.
How to use
- Wet the bar and work it into a lather between your hands or over a cloth.
- Use on the body as part of a normal wash; for external use only.
- Store on a draining dish away from direct water to preserve the dried flowers on top.
Details
- Hand-cut from a 1.3 kg loaf; each bar weighs approximately 100-140 g
- Topped with dried lavender flowers
- Made in the United Kingdom
