Devon Violet is a pure fragrance oil built around the soft, powdery scent of violet flowers, supplied undiluted in a 500ml bottle. It is a classic English fragrance style, and the large-format bottle suits people who use fragrance oil regularly or want to decant it into smaller bottles as gifts.
Symbolism
Violets have carried meaning for a long time in Western folk tradition: in the Victorian language of flowers they stood for modesty and faithfulness, and candied violets and violet-scented sweets remain a well-known part of English confectionery. This fragrance oil takes that same gentle, nostalgic floral note as its starting point.
How to use
- Decant into smaller bottles to make your own gift sets or refill a favourite burner.
- Suited to candle making, soap making, wax melts and diffuser blends.
- Dilute before any skin contact and patch test on a small area first.
- Keep away from children and pets and avoid contact with eyes.
- Never leave an oil burner or candle burning unattended, and keep the space ventilated.
