Early in the morning, before the day gets busy, a few drops of High Alpine Lavender Essential Oil in the diffuser bring a crisp, slightly sharper lavender scent into the room than the softer lavenders grown at lower altitude. It is steam distilled from the flowering tips of Lavandula angustifolia grown in France, where fine lavender is traditionally cultivated on higher ground.
Energetic properties
Lavender grown at altitude is often prized in perfumery for a cleaner, more concentrated scent, and it carries the same traditional associations with calm and clarity as other true lavenders. Many people choose it for a fresher start to the day rather than purely as an evening scent.
How to use
- Add a few drops to a diffuser in the morning or throughout the day.
- Dilute in a carrier oil before any skin contact, and patch test first.
