Symbolism
Copal, a resin drawn from trees native to Mexico and Central America, has a long history of sacred use in Mesoamerican ceremony, traditionally burned in offerings well before it was ever paired with sage. Combined here, the resin adds a sweeter, more resinous note to the herbal smoke.
How to use
- Hold the stick at an angle, light the tip, then blow out any flame so it smoulders rather than burns.
