Ho Wood Essential Oil 50ml
As the evening winds down and it is finally time to switch off, ho wood is one of the calmer, quieter oils to have on a diffuser. Steam-distilled from the wood of Cinnamomum camphora var. glavescens in China, it has a soft, floral-woody smell often compared to rosewood.
Energetic properties
Ho wood is naturally rich in linalool, the same aromatic compound that gives lavender much of its calming reputation. In aromatherapy tradition it is associated with peace and unwinding, and many people use it in place of rosewood, a related tree that is far more heavily harvested.
How to use
- Add a few drops to a diffuser in the evening
- Dilute in a carrier oil before applying to skin, and patch test first
- Not for internal use
- Keep out of reach of children and pets
- Ask a doctor before use in pregnancy
