Somnus is a roll-on perfume oil housed in a compact 10ml bottle, designed for easy application throughout the day. The blend opens with bright notes of bergamot, mint and cardamom, settles into a heart of aromatic lavender and geranium, and finishes on a warm base of patchouli, amber and musk.
Symbolism
The name Somnus refers to the Roman god of sleep, and in perfume lore blends built around lavender and amber are traditionally linked to rest, calm and the closing of the day. Many people choose scents like this for evening rituals, meditation, or simply to mark a transition from a busy schedule into quieter hours.
How to use
