You might reach for these sticks first thing in the morning to clear the air of a room, or in the evening as part of a slower wind-down routine. Palo Santo translates as "holy wood", a name that speaks to its long history in South American cleansing practices.
Spiritual meaning
In many South American traditions, Palo Santo smoke is traditionally associated with clearing stagnant energy and inviting a sense of calm. It is often burned before meditation, at the start of a new season, or simply to freshen a room.
How to use
- Light the tip of the stick and let it catch, then blow out the flame so it smoulders
- Rest it in a heat-resistant holder or dish that catches ash
- Move it slowly through the space you want to clear, keeping it away from curtains and paper
- Never leave burning incense unattended and ventilate the room
Details
- Pack contains 4 incense sticks
- Net weight: 20 g
