You air out the house at the start of the week and add white camphor oil to the diffuser while you open the windows, letting the sharp, clean scent move through the rooms. Steam-distilled from the wood and roots of Cinnamomum camphora grown in China, this 50ml bottle has an intense, woody scent with a eucalyptus-like edge from its natural cineole content.
Energetic properties
Camphor oils are traditionally associated with clearing and freshening a space, similar in spirit to eucalyptus but with a heavier, woodier base note. Many people reach for it when airing out a room after cleaning rather than for everyday background scent.
How to use
- Add two to four drops to a diffuser or oil burner.
- Dilute in a carrier oil before any skin contact, and patch test first.
- Not suitable for internal use.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
