Weighing approximately 20 to 25 kg, this is the largest lamp in the crystal rock line, cut from a substantial block of natural rock salt and set on a wooden base. It keeps its rough, uneven surface and comes complete with a light fitting, bulb and EU plug.
Energetic properties
Himalayan salt lamps are traditionally associated in crystal lore with negative ions and are said to help counter the "electronic smog" of modern electronics. A piece of this scale is usually chosen as a floor-standing centrepiece, where its size and warm light can anchor a whole room.
How to use
- Decide on its position before connecting, as the lamp is heavy once set on its base
- Plug into a standard EU socket using the fitting and bulb supplied
- Leave switched on for long periods to help keep the salt dry
- Keep away from water and very humid rooms, and wipe with a dry cloth only
