Before you begin a dowsing session, take a moment to settle and hold this small pendulum still in your hand. The resin body is embedded with a chip of amethyst and fine metal shavings, giving it a bit of weight so it swings clearly when you let it hang from the chain.
Spiritual meaning
Orgonite is traditionally valued as a tool for cleansing negative energy and countering the effects of everyday electromagnetic exposure, believed by many to support balance on a physical, emotional and spiritual level. Amethyst is long associated with calm and clarity, often chosen for meditation and quiet reflection. Dowsing itself is an old practice, said to trace back thousands of years to Egyptian and Chinese diviners, used for all sorts of questions from finding water to checking the energy of a place or object.
How to use
- Hold the chain loosely between your fingers, letting the pendulum hang freely
- Keep your hand still and ask a clear question, watching for the direction it begins to swing
- Rest the pendulum on a cloth or in a small pouch when not in use
- Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth; avoid water and harsh cleaning products
