Symbolism
Dragon's blood resin is traditionally linked with strength and protection in folk magic, while the added flowers soften the blend, and together they are generally associated with welcoming energy into a space rather than only clearing it out. Many people burn this version before hosting, when the aim is a warm atmosphere rather than a deep reset.
How to use
- Angle the stick slightly as you light the tip, then blow out the flame so it smoulders steadily.
- Set it down in a heatproof dish between passes, and press the tip gently against it to stop the smoulder when you are done.
- Always burn it on a heat-resistant surface, never leave it unattended, and keep the room ventilated.
