Steam-distilled from the leaves of the West Indian bay tree, this batch is sourced from the Cayman Islands.
Energetic properties
West Indian bay leaf, Pimenta racemosa, is a different plant from the culinary bay laurel used in cooking, though the two share a warm, spicy-green character. In aromatherapy lore it is often reached for when a confident, grounding scent is wanted, and its long history in grooming traditions makes it a natural choice for blends worn close to the skin.
How to use
- Blend into a carrier oil for a warm, spicy-green personal fragrance, always diluted for skin use.
