A generous 500g pack of purple-dyed bamboo reed diffuser sticks, each cut to 25cm in length and 3mm in width. The colour tint adds a decorative touch to any diffuser bottle while the reeds carry out their usual job of drawing fragrance oil up into the air.
Traditional use
Reed diffusers offer a flameless, low-maintenance way to keep a room subtly scented. Without a flame or hot wax, they are considered a safer option around children and animals than candles or oil burners, and they work well in spaces where continuous burning is not practical, such as offices or bathrooms. Bamboo's natural porosity lets the reeds absorb fragrance oil and release it steadily into the surrounding air.
How to use
- Insert the reeds into a diffuser bottle containing fragrance oil
- Leave for a few hours for the scent to build as the oil travels along the reeds
- Flip the reeds periodically to renew the fragrance throw
- Replace with fresh reeds once they no longer draw oil efficiently
