In the evening, as the day winds down, you light one of these Lavender backflow incense cones on a heatproof backflow burner and watch the smoke begin its slow descent. Set the cone at the top of your burner, above the hole, light the tip and let it catch, then blow out the flame once the end glows steadily. Within moments the smoke turns downward, heavier than air, spilling in soft swirls over the burner's shape and pooling at its base.
