You clear a small space, sit with the chain draped over your fingers, and watch the amethyst tip settle before the chakra beads above it. This pendulum combines a purple amethyst point with a line of seven coloured chip stones for those who want to bring chakra work into their dowsing.
Spiritual meaning
Dowsing is believed to date back over six thousand years and has long been used for finding water, answering questions and guiding decisions. Amethyst is traditionally linked to calm and intuition, while the seven chakra beads reflect the body's energy centres in yoga and meditation traditions, together making this pendulum a favourite for those exploring both practices.
How to use
- Hold the top of the metal chain between thumb and forefinger
- Allow the amethyst point to hang still before beginning
- Ask your question and read the direction of the swing
- Store away from direct sunlight, as amethyst can fade over time
Details
- Chain approximately 200mm long with chakra chip stone beads
- Amethyst gemstone point at the end of the chain
- Materials: gemstone, metal chain, chip stones
- Handmade from a natural stone, so size and pattern vary piece to piece
