Set one of these cones burning while you tidy up in the evening, and watch the smoke roll down over the burner as the deep, resinous scent of dragon's blood fills the room. Satya's backflow dhoop cones are made to work specifically with backflow holders, which have a channel that pulls the smoke downward instead of straight up.
Spiritual meaning
Dragon's blood resin has long been associated in folklore with protection and grounding, often burned before meditation or when someone wants to mark a boundary around their space. In many traditions it is one of the more assertive scents, used when a stronger presence is wanted in a ritual or cleansing routine.
How to use
- Stand the cone, point up, on a backflow incense burner with a downward air channel
- Light the tip, allow a small flame, then blow it out so it smoulders and smokes
- Use on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from fabric and paper
- Never leave a lit cone unattended, and keep out of reach of children and pets
- Ventilate the room during and after burning
