This table lamp weaves rattan around a metal frame in black, topped with a coconut leaf and cotton diffuser that softens the light once switched on. It is supplied with a bulb and a mains plug, ready to use straight away.
Symbolism
Rattan's open, hand-woven structure has long been used across South East Asia for furniture and lighting alike, letting light break into soft, scattered patterns rather than a single beam. A black finish gives this piece a slightly more grounded, dramatic presence than its natural-toned counterpart.
