You sound this gong to open or close a session, letting its slow, rich tone settle over the room. Finished in a soft greenwash and mounted on a carved wooden stand, this medium gong is made in Bali, where gongs have traditionally accompanied temple ceremonies in Bali and Java.
Spiritual meaning
In Balinese and Javanese tradition, the sound of the gong is used to mark ceremonies and gatherings, with many believing it helps clear a space and settle those within it. It has since become a familiar fixture in yoga studios and meditation practices, appreciated for its long, sustained tone.
