Spiritual meaning
Cedarwood incense is made from the dried, ground wood of the cedar tree, blended with other natural ingredients before being shaped into sticks. In meditation and prayer, cedarwood is traditionally valued for its calming effect on mind and body. It has long been burned in rituals believed to purify a space, and many people also use it as a natural way to keep insects away.
How to use
- Place the incense stick upright in the brass holder, over a heatproof surface
- Light the tip, let it catch, then blow out the flame so it smoulders
- Never leave burning incense unattended and keep away from children, pets and draughts
- Ventilate the room while it burns
