This smaller lamp from the crystal rock line is handcrafted from natural Himalayan rock salt and keeps the rough, uneven surface typical of the style, rather than being smoothed and polished. It weighs approximately 1.5 to 2 kg, stands on its own base, and comes with a light fitting, bulb and EU plug.
Energetic properties
In crystal lore, Himalayan salt is traditionally linked to negative ions and to softening the "electronic smog" given off by phones and screens. Its compact size makes it a popular choice for a bedside table, desk or shelf, where a gentle glow is preferred over a large centrepiece.
How to use
- Plug into a standard EU socket using the fitting and bulb supplied
- Switch on regularly to help the salt stay dry, especially in damp weather
- Keep away from water and very humid rooms such as bathrooms
- Wipe gently with a dry cloth, once cooled, if the surface feels damp
