When the evening settles in and you want a small ritual to mark the change of pace, this concrete candle brings a crisp juniper and sweet gin scent into the room, paired with the gentle crackle of a real wooden wick.
Symbolism
Candlelight has long been used to mark a pause, a closing of one part of the day and the opening of another. The raw, unfinished look of concrete is traditionally linked to grounding and simplicity, a reminder to slow down before the wick is even lit.
How to use
- Place on a heat-resistant surface away from drafts
- Trim the wooden wick before each lighting for a clean, even burn
- Never leave the candle unattended and keep it away from children and pets
- Let the wax pool fully across the surface on the first burn for a more even melt
- Once finished, clean out the concrete pot and reuse it as a small plant pot or trinket holder
