Cedarwood Fragrance Oil is a 10ml bottle of scented oil built as a layered composition: crisp top notes of apple, cardamom and elemi, a heart of jasmine, lily of the valley, olibanum and rose, and a warm base of dry amber, patchouli and sandalwood. It is diluted with dipropylene glycol (DPG) to help the fragrance stay noticeable for longer once it is warmed.
Spiritual meaning
Woody and resinous materials such as sandalwood and amber have a long history in purification and grounding rituals across many cultures, burned or worn to mark a space as calm and settled. Many people choose a warm, woody base note like this for meditation corners or altar spaces, where a steady, grounding scent is welcome.
How to use
- Add a few drops to the water bowl of an oil burner and warm gently with a tealight.
- A few drops also work well in an electric wax warmer or on a diffuser pad.
- Never leave a burning candle or burner unattended; use a heat-resistant, stable surface away from curtains and other flammable materials.
- Ventilate the room while the oil is warming.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets, avoid contact with eyes, and do not ingest.
