Set this bowl out before your evening wind-down, and it already changes the room. The Magic Mushroom Aluminium Singing Bowl is finished in black with blue engraved mushroom and botanical artwork on the inside, and its wide 20cm body gives it a strong presence on a shelf, altar or meditation corner.
Symbolism
Mushrooms have long featured in folklore as symbols of the woodland and the unseen, often linked to transformation and hidden knowledge. Paired with the traditional form of a Tibetan-style singing bowl, the engraved design brings that woodland symbolism into a tool many people already associate with meditation, mindfulness and sound practice.
How to use
- Rest the bowl on a flat, stable surface or a supporting cushion.
- Run a wooden striker steadily around the rim to build a sustained tone, or tap the rim gently for a single note.
- Let the sound fade fully before striking again, and use it as a simple marker for the start or close of a meditation session.
