Despite the name, Virginian cedarwood is botanically a juniper rather than a true cedar, though its dry, pencil-shaving scent has made it a long-standing favourite for grounding blends. Many people reach for it in the evening or during quiet, focused moments, and it pairs easily with citrus, floral or resin oils in a personal blend.
