Cold-pressed from the peel of Citrus bergamia grown in Italy, this is the FCF (furanocoumarin-free) version, processed to reduce the compounds that make citrus oils more likely to react with sunlight on skin.
Energetic properties
Bergamot has long been associated with Southern Italy, where it grows almost exclusively around Calabria and gave its name to the original Eau de Cologne.
