On a day set aside for cleaning and airing out the house, a few drops of Lemon Tea Tree oil in the diffuser bring a sharp, lemony-fresh scent into the room, brighter and more citrusy than common tea tree. Steam-distilled from the leaves of Leptospermum petersonii grown in Australia, it is a different plant from true tea tree, native to the same region.
Energetic properties
Lemon tea tree has long been valued by Australian growers for its intense, lemony-fresh character, distinct from the more medicinal scent of common tea tree though related through the wider myrtle family. Many people diffuse it on cleaning or reset days, alone or blended with citrus and mint-type oils.
How to use
- Diffuse on cleaning or fresh-start days, alone or blended with citrus oils.
- Dilute in a carrier oil before any skin use, and patch test first.
- Do not ingest, and keep away from children and pets.
